iQ Academy
(for part time students)
Please note that taking online classes through the iQ Academy require some additional steps above and beyond expressing interest and registering. Also, be aware that K12/iQ courses are not NCAA approved. Here are the steps to take in order to get your child signed up to take an iQ class:
Step 1. Make an appt. with KSS Counselor
Step 2. Complete iQ enrollment packet, return to Counseling Office
Step 3. Student and parent complete the iQ online enrollment
-- here is a quick tutorial on how to do this by the iQ Counselor, Cheryl Bormann

* Do not contact your KSS Counselor if you are having trouble with this step, please refer to the iQ Staff for assistance
Step 4. Students will need to report to the KSS media center during their iQ hour to complete the orientation process. This pertains to ALL students taking an iQ class, regardless if you have taken an iQ class prior to this year.
9th & 10th Gr. students are required to stay in the Media Center during their iQ class.
11th and 12th Gr. students are required to stay in the Media Center for at least the first 3 weeks of class - and must maintain 3.0 or better.
